Our employees are the key to the success of all the KAT programs and services. It is therefore fitting that we recognize there contributions to our organization in a special way. We can not recognize all of them in spite of the fact that each of them contributes in their own special way. And the winner of the Audrey A. Versteeg award for the year 2006 is:
Yvonne Baardson Audrey A. Versteeg Memorial Award Audrey Versteeg devoted her professional life (more than 25 years) to supporting and assisting adults with developmental disabilities throughout Washington State. Audrey was a program manager at Kitsap Applied Technologies from 1988 until her unexpected death in the fall of 1991. When KAT’s Board of Directors voted to establish an award to honor achievement and excellence demonstrated by our staff, is seemed most appropriate to honor Audrey’s contributions by naming the award after her. The Audrey Versteeg Award is the highest award KAT gives each year and the recipient is selected by KAT’s employees voting from a list of monthly achievers recognized during the year. |
